Hey there! How's it going? I'm Collin Lloyd.

I write and design for people running for something, fighting for something, or trying to get a message past a distracted electorate.

Cindi for Senate Brand Identity

Cindi Clayton for Indiana State Senate · 2026

I built Cindi's entire visual identity, from the logo and colors to the website and messaging.

Cindi started with no brand at all. I designed one that holds up everywhere it lands, from a yard sign to the homepage: logo, color system, type, and a messaging framework I carried across every touchpoint.

  • Designed the full identity: logo, color system, and typography
  • Rolled it out across the website, social graphics, and print

Erik Hurt for Congress Graphic Work

Erik Hurt for Congress · 2024

I designed a sharper look for Erik's congressional run: new logo, type, colors, and social graphics.

Facing an open seat for the first time since 2010, Erik's campaign needed to look the part. I rebuilt the logo, type, and color system, and established a new retro-futuristic design system.

  • Rebuilt the logo, typography, and color system
  • Carried the refresh across every social graphic

Cindi for Senate Campaign Website

Cindi Clayton for Indiana State Senate · 2026

A campaign site built on Squarespace, then pushed well past the template with custom CSS and assets.

Stock templates couldn't carry Cindi's brand, so I stopped fighting them. I hand-wrote CSS and built custom assets on top of Squarespace until the site read as fully bespoke, not a theme.

  • Hand-wrote the CSS to break past Squarespace's template limits
  • Designed the graphics and page layouts to match the campaign brand

Regional Conference Tour Recap

LinkedIn · Natural Gas Supply Association · 2026

A LinkedIn recap of the NGSA CEO's regional conference tour, written and designed to keep the momentum going.

The NGSA CEO had just finished a run of regional conferences, and the team wanted that energy on LinkedIn. I wrote and designed a recap that pulled the whole multi-city tour into one clear, on-brand post.

  • Wrote the copy and designed the visuals from scratch
  • Kept NGSA visible and on-message between bigger releases

Cindi for Senate on Micah Beckwith

TikTok · Cindi Clayton for Indiana State Senate · 2025

When Lt. Gov. Micah Beckwith's visit to Southern Indiana hit the news, I scripted and shot a fast response for Cindi. It reached 27K+ views.

27K+ views 2.2K+ likes

Beckwith's visit was local news for about a day, so speed mattered. I scripted and produced a short-form video fast enough to catch the moment while people were still talking about it.

  • Scripted and produced the whole thing on a same-week turnaround
  • Hit 27K+ views and 2.2K+ likes, far above the campaign's usual reach

NGSA Releases 26th Annual Interstate Natural Gas Pipeline Cost Recovery Analysis

Natural Gas Supply Association · July 2026

I wrote NGSA's 26th annual pipeline cost-recovery release, turning dense technical data into something utilities, regulators, and reporters could actually use.

The source material was dense pipeline cost data. I wrote and formatted it into a clear, publication-ready release for utilities, regulators, and industry press, continuing a reporting series NGSA has run for 26 years.

  • Wrote and formatted the full release straight from the technical data
  • Kept NGSA's 26-year reporting series going for its national audience

About Me

It's nice to meet you!

I'm Collin! I was born and raised in Southern Indiana, surrounded by corn fields and some of the most beautiful sunsets you've ever seen. Now, though, I'm based in St. Louis, Missouri, where I am a Senior studying Political Science and Graphic Design at Washington University in St. Louis.

I've long been intrigued by how visual communication in public affairs can change perceptions and sway opinions. I spent the summer after my freshman year on Capitol Hill, logging constituent calls, giving tours, and sitting in committee hearings, giving me my first real taste of what goes on behind the scenes. Call me crazy, but I fell in love. I spent the rest of that summer leading design and messaging for Erik Hurt's 2024 congressional campaign for IN-08. The following summer, I built the visual identity and website for an Cindi Clayton's Indiana State Senate campaign, while building an effective messaging strategy for social media. Each of those roles comes down to the same question: how do you get someone who isn't paying attention to stop scrolling and listen to what a candidate has to say?

Outside the office

Outside of work, I'm behind a drum kit or a DJ booth, which might explain why I think about rhythm even in a press release or campaign video. I'm a huge fan of the Colts & IU Football (go Hoosiers!), and am currently re-watching Parks & Rec for the... 5th time. I know.
